Chris Wood leads Erling Haaland in unique attacking metric as impressive run at Nottingham Forest continues
Chris Wood continued his incredible start to the Premier League season with a brace in the 3-1 win over Leicester.

Wood, along with Forest captain Ryan Yates, led his team to their fourth Premier League victory this season.

“It's consistency that Nuno has been working on. We got better and better last season but we also conceded bad goals at times,” said Wood, speaking to Sky sports.
“I think consistency is the most important thing. I wouldn't say it drove us, we conceded a lot of goals from set pieces and we worked on that and we have to keep going.”
The Espírito Santo team now have Forest's longest unbeaten streak in the English top flight since 1995.
They have also won consecutive top-flight games for the first time since December 2023 and sit fifth in the Premier League table, which is their highest league position of the century.
Having played one more game than their teammates, Forest are just one point behind. Arsenal and Villa Aston.
Wood has scored exactly 60% of Forest's goals in the Premier League this season, having scored seven of his team's 11.
Just Liam Delap's ipswich town (66.7%) has contributed more individual team goals than Forest's number 11.

Haaland has scored just over half (52.6%) of Manchester City's goals this season, with Bryan Mbuemo (42.9%) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (40%) also high on the list.
Sky Sports also asked Wood about Haaland and the role of being a “great centre-forward”.
“We want to try to get it back or I'll be out of a job!” said. “For a while the small centre-forward with a lot of pace was used, but fortunately Erling has got him back.”
“I just want to keep scoring as many as I can. He (Haaland) is a formidable man and will probably score 30 goals this season. He is a formidable man to chase.
“He (Nuno Espirito Santo) came in and put emphasis on putting the ball in the box. He has worked on that on the training pitch.”
Leicester fans booed their team at The King Power stadium, which remained in 14th position with nine points from nine games.
Forest fans certainly made the most of the victory over former manager Steve Cooper's team, as they chanted his name throughout.
