Arsenal They are reportedly ready to make a move to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic next summer, according to Insider football information.

After taking advantage of Eddie Nketiah last quarter, Mikel Arteta currently has Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus as the two options to deploy in the center forward position.

The German has made a promising start to this season, scoring six goals and registering just one assist in 12 appearances in all competitions so far. But Jesús has had fitness problems in recent times and, after recovering from his problem, he has not yet been able to show his best level this season.

Now, Soccer insider information claims that Arsenal want to sign a new striker next summer because they are concerned about their goalscoring record and are preparing to make a move for Vlahovic after identifying him as the top target.

Arsenal are looking for a guaranteed goalscorer like Harry Kane and believe that the Serbian international would be an ideal option.

Vlahovic to Arsenal

The Juventus star will enter the final year of his current contract next summer so would be available for a cut-price deal at that time and there is a growing feeling that Vlahovic could leave the Bianconeri at the end of this season. Therefore, the north London club believe they could lure him to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have a long-term interest in the 24-year-old, having been interested in signing him a few years ago, but the player preferred to join the Old Lady of Turin at the time, rejecting a move to the Gunners. Now, it looks like Arsenal are keen to finally sign their long-term target.

The striker has made a good start to the season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 11 appearances in all competitions so far.

Vlahovic – valued at around £54 million per Transfer market – is a top-level player and has the necessary qualities to become a world-class striker in the future. Therefore, it would be a smart acquisition for Arsenal if they were to acquire him.

However, it remains to be seen whether the north London club will ultimately opt to take a concrete approach to signing him next summer to strengthen the front line.
