Mohamed Salah has equaled Robbie Fowler in the Premier League scoring rankings thanks to his goal against Arsenal.

The Egyptian extreme shot Liverpool's equalized with less than 10 minutes remaining to make it 2-2 at the Emirates.

Salah has achieved another feat

Arsenal had gone ahead Bukayo Sakaown record goalbefore Virgil van Dijk equalized nine minutes later.

Mikel Merino then scored what the Gunners thought would be the winning goal.

But Trent Alexander-Arnold's beautiful ball over the top near the end of the game was collected by Darwin Nunez, who selflessly passed it to Salah.

The Egyptian made no mistake and finished off a well-worked goal for the visitors.

Salah is already Liverpool Top scorer in the Premier League and took the title in the 7-0 rout of Manchester United in March 2023.

But he took another step in the top flight by equaling the overall figure of the club legend. Fowler Sunday outside Arsenal.

The 32-year-old's goal is his 163rd in the Premier League, most of them with Liverpool but the first two with Chelsea.

Fowler reached his total in two spells with the Reds as well as spells with Leeds United and Manchester City.

His last goal came in 2007, when Liverpool beat Sheffield United 4-0 at home and the former striker scored twice on the same day.

Salah is now at his level and has done so in 107 fewer appearances, as well as overtaking Jermain Defoe in the all-time rankings.

The Liverpool star has also extended his goal tally against Arsenal to 11 in all competitions, his fourth-best record against a Man City club.

Salah joined Liverpool in 2017, from Roma for £34.3m.

He has won the Champions League and the Premier League with the Reds, among other honours, writing himself into the club's history books.
