Rio Ferdinand and Joleon Lescott couldn't help but laugh after Erling Haaland's honest assessment of his recent injury.

The Norwegian superstar was on target again on Saturday as he scored both of Manchester City's goals in his 2-0 victory about Everton.

Haaland found the target for the first time since November, after returning from a foot injury that saw him miss ten games in all competitions.

City failed to get a shot on target against Everton in the first period, the first time they have done so at home since August 2022.
