Mohamed Salah reveals Andy Robertson's advice that turned him from Chelsea failure into Premier League top scorer
Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly Liverpool's main man and perhaps he owes that to Andy Robertson.
The Egyptian king has been the red' outstanding since his arrival in 2017, scoring 221 goals in a period in which the club lifted the Premier League and Champions League titles.

Talking about Liverpool Reds Round TableSalah shared a pivotal conversation between himself and the Scot after his first year at the club, in which he scored 44 goals in 52 games.
He said: “Very early in Liverpool, after my first year, Robbo came to me and said: 'Look, when you miss a chance and you go down like that (you hang your head), everyone looks at you and everyone says, if a superstar is By doing that, what are we going to do?
“So it was a difficult day, but since then it has been stuck in my head, maybe it's the only positive thing I get from it (laughs).
“So it's still in my mind, so since then, even when I miss an opportunity, I smile.
“Even if you are a little frustrated, over time you understand that the situation comes and goes, emotions come and go, and you try to deal with it in the best way possible.”
Robertson's advice clearly didn't hurt Salah's luck in front of goal, and the star has reached the 20-goal mark in every season since, a goal he is on track to achieve once again this season.
This includes his 31 goals in the 2020/21 season, which saw the Reds qualify for the Champions League despite a difficult season that saw injuries to key players. Virgil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson.
And Salah revealed how his teammate's guidance continued to help him during this period, and spoke about his desire to make every minute of his time at Liverpool count.
