Darren Fletcher had to be restrained by a Man United staff member when he launched into an X-rated verbal outburst.

Ward told the commission, via daily mail: “After the half-time whistle and as I was walking down the tunnel, Darren Fletcher from Manchester United approached me in an extremely aggressive manner, pointing at me and shouting 'you're all shit, that's shit.' Damn joke, every damn week.
“I asked him to calm down and stressed that his behavior was completely unacceptable at that time.
“He then had to be restrained by another member of staff while he tried to approach me. With this, I turned around and continued walking towards the match officials' locker room.
“Once in the locker room and when the other match officials arrived, I informed them of Mr. Fletcher's conduct.”
The commission also viewed video evidence from the tunnel, during which Fletcher became “agitated and begins to protest with the Fourth Officer, gesticulating with his hands, shouting and attempting to approach the Fourth Officer in a confrontational manner.”

The report adds: “He is then held down and pushed by a Manchester United colleague.”
Although the video did not have audio, the commission found that it showed Fletcher “acting in a manner that we consider aggressive.”
Although the former midfielder apologized for his behavior, he received a three-game ban on the wing.
He completed the first of those matches on Sunday against Leicester and will also miss the upcoming clashes with Ipswich and Everton.
The 40-year-old will return to the side for the trip to Arsenal on December 4.
Fletcher has been United's technical coach since April after leaving his position as technical director.
