Aston Villa trio Ollie Watkins, Ezri Konsa and Morgan Rogers helped England secure a crucial 3-0 victory over Greece on Thursday night.
Watkins opened the scoring for the Three Lions, converting a well-taken right-footed finish from six yards early on in Athens – his fifth goal for his country.

Attacking midfielder Rogers was introduced for his senior England debut as a 66th-minute substitute, proudly becoming the 78th Villa player to represent the Three Lions, and duly played his part in England’s second goal.
Rogers found Jude Bellingham before he embarked on a surging run and saw his long-range strike rebound off a post and hit Greece goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos before crossing the line.
The impressive victory moves England top of League B Group 2, level on 12 points with Greece, ahead of Sunday’s final match against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley.
