Chelsea release unseen Cobham footage showing off Enzo Maresca's unique training tool
Enzo Maresca has certainly left his mark on Chelsea by bringing in a rather unique training tool: a giant television screen on the training ground.
The blues spent £10 million in compensation to remove Maresca from city of leicester in the summer after the Italian led the Foxes to the championship title the last season.
It was a bit of a surprise appointment given that Maresca had another coaching job under his belt, a 14-match stint with Parma from May to November 2021.
However, Maresca's skeptics have remained silent, at least for now, as Chelsea They are third in the Premier League with 19 points.
The star striker's form is crucial to the Blues' surge in the opening months of the season. Cole Palmerwho has seven goals and five assists in the League this season.
Palmer's brilliance aside, Chelsea's improved form could be down to an interesting tool used during training sessions at Cobham.
With the November international break coming to an end, the club shared never seen before photos from his training base.
The snapshots ranged from Moisés Caicedo throwing a red Frisbee to Malo Gusto attempting an athletic bicycle kick and Palmer riding a medical cart.
Even former captain Thiago Silva was surprised when he made a midweek visit to the place he called home for four years.
But one image stood out and gives an idea of how Maresca carries out his analysis.
The image shows two Chelsea stars watching a giant television screen mounted on a four-wheeled trailer.
On the screen is a still image from Chelsea's pre-season match against Mexican club Club América in August, which the Blues won 3-0.

The angle used for the analysis also appears to be a higher view than what fans would normally see when watching on television.
With the screen easy for all players to see, it means Maresca can immediately point out and quickly analyze where their stars should have been placed or what options they could have used.
Players could then instantly correct their mistake on the field.
Of course, other clubs can use similar technology on their respective training grounds.
But given Chelsea's overall form this season, it's hard to argue that it hasn't been beneficial.
In addition to their impressive start to the Premier League campaign, the Blues are expected to sweep the Europa Conference League.

Maresca's team have won all three games and have scored a notable 16 goals in that time, which averages a whopping 5.3 goals per game.
However, the Blues were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle United in the round of 16.
Chelsea return to action after the November international break with a trip to the King Power Stadium on Saturday in what marks Maresca's first trip to Leicester City since his summer exit.
