The Palms star Alberto Moleiro stated his future desire to join Barcelona.
The 21-year-old has been consistently linked with a potential move to Catalonia as his stock continues to rise in Gran Canaria.
Moleiro drew comparisons with the former Las Palmas player Peter and the midfielder was proposed to follow his fellow Tenerife-born star to Barcelona.
After a strong first season in The League in 2023/24, Barcelona seemed ready to make his move, but Las Palmas resisted the interest and stayed in the Canary Islands.
Recent reports from Caught Offsideclaim Arsenal and Newcastle United are both interested in Moleiro, with both clubs having sent scouts to watch him in action in recent weeks.
However, the player himself seems to prefer a move to Barcelona as a first-choice option, with his position clear on where his next career lies.
