'An absolute disgrace': Roy Keane pulls no punches with West Ham verdict during Arsenal horror show

Roy Keane has branded West Ham “an absolute disgrace” for their first-half performance against Arsenal.

David MoyesThe team had hopes of pulling off an upset but found themselves trailing 4-0 at half-time following an emphatic first-half display from the Gunners.

West Ham held firm for half an hour before William Saliba gave the Gunners the lead, a situation made worse when the Hammers conceded three goals in six minutes before half-time to get the game underway.

The home fans had clearly seen enough with a large number of them. flooding the stadium before the break.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Keane said: “West Ham in the last 10 or 15 minutes was an absolute disgrace.

“They have not appeared. The first half hour was a bit cautious, obviously. Arsenal They were on top but it was the goals that they gave away.

“They're not being physical, they're not attacking. Odegaard, no one has laid a glove on him!

“There are ways to lose a football match, but the way West Ham play… They look old, they look slow in midfield, they run back without desire or hunger.

“David Moyes must have been furious at half-time but all the credit goes to Arsenal. “They’ve turned up, they’ve flexed their muscles and they look good and, look, West Ham, a disgrace.”

Things didn't improve much in the second half, with Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice adding a fifth and a sixth as Arsenal took a convincing 6-0 victory over their London neighbours.

That victory puts the Gunners just two points behind league leaders Liverpool, while West Ham remain in eighth place.
