Valencia suffered a cruel injury blow last month as Thierry Correia was ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament during the match against Getafe. The absence of the Portuguese means that Los Che only have Dimitri Foulquier as a right option, so a new signing is wanted during the next winter transfer window.
The loan signing is the way that will be explored by the owners of the club, and second AS Diaryone of the players that are considered is Alex Jimenez of AC Milan. The 19-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Real Madrid in 2023 – initially on loan, before the deal was made permanent in the summer.
Milan want Jimenez to play regular first-team football, so they are looking for a loan departure in January. Valencia he sees this as an attractive low-cost option, so it wouldn't be a surprise if his interest turns into a formal offer once the winter transfer window opens.
