Barcelona are not expected to have too much financial space during next summer's transfer window, even if they manage to finally return to La Liga's 1:1 rule. As such, the free agent market will again be intensely watched, and one option that is currently being floated is Ajax's Devyne Rensch.

Hansi Flick is keen to strengthen his options at right-back as Jules Kounde is expected to eventually return to being used at centre-back. Rensch, whose contract expires at the end of the season, is a player Barcelona like, as revealed by Sport. However, they are expected to face competition from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Rensch would be a good addition for Barcelonagiven that he would be a low-cost arrival who is only 21 years old. However, he might be hesitant to pursue him seriously given the similarities with Sergino Dest, who has struggled massively at the club after signing from Ajax in 2020.
