Transfer notebook: Chelsea could re-sign former star Van Nistelrooy in line for Premier League job, Cunha stance ahead of January window
Chelsea are considering a summer strategy to re-sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
Guehi passed through the ranks of the academy in Chelsea before completing an £18million move to Palace in the summer of 2021, having found first-team opportunities limited.
The England international is out of contract at the end of next season, which has alerted the Blues to the fact that he could be available for a reduced fee next summer.
Guehi is said to be in no rush to commit to a new deal at Selhurst Park in anticipation of interest from top six clubs in the summer.
The center-back was wanted by Newcastle after starring in the Euro Cup with England, but The Magpies could not agree a fee with Palace.
