Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim refused to rule out further adjustments to his team that could affect Marcus Rashford.
Rashford started as the Red Devils' only forward in Amorim's first game in charge and got on the scoreboard in the 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town last Sunday.
The 27-year-old's goal was his fifth of the season in all competitions and ended a run of seven consecutive Premier League games without a goal.
Amorim's choice to place Rashford at the top deviated from that of his predecessor Erik ten Hag He used him, who was on the left wing in a front of three.
Although Rashford scored during a rare forward position for Amorim's team, preferred formation 3-4-2-1The Portuguese coach revealed that it is not the long-term plan.
Amorim is also determined to return Rashford to the excellent form he enjoyed during the 2022/23 campaign, when he scored 17 goals in 35 league appearances, but insisted this will only happen if the England star heeds a two-word demand.

“I'll try to help him,” Amorim said.
“That position is not the best for him, especially in a game like that. We have to kick with high pressure, we have to kick the ball many times and it was like fighting with two giants.
“We will try to find the right solution for him, as well as for the other players. But it has to be Marcus, first of all, trying to get back to that moment and then he will have all the help of the staff, the club and the fans because he is a manchester united boy.
“But he has to be the first to want it.”
Amorim also hinted that Rashford is likely to be dropped from the starting line-up for United's Europa League clash against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.
However, Rashford's farewell would not be related to performance, as Amorim seeks to accelerate the acclimatization process of all its stars.
“We have to do it (rotate), especially right now because we have a lot of games and we are at the beginning of something,” Amorim said.
“They have to feel part of the team, that's why they are international players, they will rotate.
“We will try to win all the games and not focus only on this one, have a clear idea of how to play and everyone has to be on the same page.”
danish striker Rasmus Hojlund He is emerging as the next option to start up top for the Red Devils, having been the man to replace Rashford in the 68th minute against Ipswich.
Hojlund, who joined in July last year for an initial £64m from Atalanta, had a disrupted start to the season as he recovered from a hamstring injury.
Since then, the 21-year-old has scored just two goals in 13 appearances for United in all competitions this season and will be desperate to impress if chosen to lead the line against Bodo.
Manchester United forwards compared in 24/25
Marco Rashford: Five goals, three assists in 19 appearances
Rasmus Hojlund: Two goals, zero assists in 13 appearances
Joshua Zirkzee: One goal, two assists in 18 appearances
Polarizing summer recruit Joshua Zirkzee is another who could play the central forward role in Amorim's formation.
After scoring the winning goal on his debut for the Red Devils against Fulham, Zirkzee has failed to score in his next 17 games for United.
This leaves Amorim with a serious conundrum as he looks to power up his failing strike unit.
United's clash against Bodo at Old Trafford kicks off at 7pm and Amorim's side are looking to go six games unbeaten across the board.
