Ricky Gervais couldn't help but poke fun at Roy Keane after his appearance in The Overlap.
The comedy legend was a special guest on the hit show and shared stories from his career so far, including the creation of The Office and its similarities to manchester united Keano legend.
Announcing Gervais as a special guest on the show, Liverpool Hero Jamie Carragher commented on X, saying: “Bloody loves football @RickyGervais.”
This prompted the comedy star to respond: “I'm glad Roy didn't want to chat with me in the car park.”
Of course, Gervais was referencing the viral clip of the irascible Irishman at Portman Road on Sunday.
Keane was working as a pundit for Sky Sports during the 1-1 draw between Man United and Ipswich in Ruben AmorimThe first game in charge.

In the images you can see it pointing and exchanging words with a supporter.
This occurred during a commercial break, and the confrontation lasted just a few seconds.
As reported by the daily mailAnother fan on one of the upper levels of Portman Road was heard shouting 'Fuck you, Keane!'
A separate video posted on social media offers a closer look, in which a fan is heard saying: “You're a better expert than a coach.”
Keane responded by getting in his face, to which he replied: “I'll wait for you in the car park!”
He was then sacked while carrying out pundit duties alongside former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp.
Keane was appointed Ipswich manager in April 2009, taking up the role after leaving Sunderland.
However, he was removed from office in early 2011, with the Tractor Boys being the second and last club he managed.
They left with a winning record of 29 in 81 matches in all competitions, with 24 of those draws and 28 losses.
Keane has only worked as an assistant since leaving Ipswich, doing so with Ireland, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
