Liverpool defender Conor Bradley will undergo a scan on Thursday over fears of a serious injury, talkSPORT understands.
Bradley was praised for his display in thwarting Kylian Mbappé on wednesday 2-0 victory on real Madrid at Anfield.
But in what could be a cruel and ill-timed blow, there are concerns the Reds academy graduate could be sidelined for a month.
Bradley, who was substituted in the 87th minute against Madrid, has replaced Trent Alexander-Aronld after a hamstring problem.
Center back Ibrahima Konate was also forced out with an injury in the Champions League clash.
Alexander-Arnold was deemed fit enough only for a place on the bench against the La Liga giants and could now be in line to start against city of manchester on Sunday.
Bradley repaid Slot's faith in him with a magnificent performance against the reigning European champions.
The 21-year-old was widely recognized as Liverpool's best player the night before retiring late after suffering an injury.
His performance was characterized by an action-packed tackle on Mbappé as the Frenchman raced towards goal in the first half.
It set the tone for the Real Madrid star who struggled to get the better of Bradley and then saw his penalty saved by Caoimhin Kelleher.
Bradley's mature performance was praised by Arsenal and legend of france Henry Thierry full time.
“That (inning) for me already set the tone,” Henry said on CBS Sports. “Boom! That's it. When you face someone like that at the beginning of the game, you will have difficulties.
“We see him making that run (forward), every time; he felt like it. It was clear that he imagined himself against Mbappé. Everything he did was right. “We were waiting for (Mohamed) Salah, we were waiting for Mbappé, but we saw Conor Bradley, so fair play to him.”
He continued: “Conor Bradley was simply outstanding. I think he didn't have to do much defensively because Mbappé didn't do much offensively. Then it became very easy.”
The Reds defender has made 12 appearances this season in all competitions, cementing his place as a key component of Slot's squad.
Bradley debuted in Liverpool thanks to Jurgen Klopp in an EFL Cup tie against Norwich in 2021.
After a season-long loan spell at Bolton, Bradley made his full league debut against Bournemouth in January 2024, registering an assist for Diogo Jota in a 4–1 win.
