Bayer Leverkusen stars Florian Wirtz he is widely expected to be one of the main drivers in the 2025 summer transfer window, and it looks like he could stay in Germany. Wirtz attracted interest from the biggest fish in his native country, England and Spain.

The Athletic, as carried by AS Diarythey say Leverkusen will need more than €100 million to part with the 21-year-old. Los Blancos consider this a complicated fee to stump up for Wirtz, and are unlikely to go all out for the creative talent. Bayern, on the other hand, are keen to secure a major coup.
Barcelona have already shown an interest in Wirtz – as have most top clubs – but it looks like it will be Bayern and Real Madrid competing for his signature. Manchester City have also been linked with Wirtz, and could be tempted to make a move, particularly if Kevin de Bruyne moves on.
