Aston Villa is delighted to commemorate our 150th anniversary with a special edition hardback photo book showcasing 150 iconic images from our beloved club’s illustrious history.
AV150: 150 YEARS // 150 IMAGES is the latest celebration in our official AV150 collection as we mark this historic season and pay tribute to Villa’s past and present.
The distinctive publication contains iconic photographs from down the years – a stunning visual history of our great club – from Villa’s first trophy in 1880 to Jhon Durán’s stunning goal in October’s UEFA Champions League victory over Bayern Munich.
We’ve made sure to highlight significant and special moments which have become part of the claret and blue fabric – from players, to trophies, through to our glorious home at Villa Park – this special piece of nostalgia has something for everyone.
Beautifully presented in landscape format, the images reflect all aspects of Villa – goals, celebrations, trophy triumphs and more.
We focus on some of the club’s greatest managers, our ventures in Europe, trips to Wembley, maverick players and the evolution of Villa Park.
Some of the images will be familiar; others have not previously been published. But each one represents a significant moment in the club’s history or is simply a stunning image.
Also included are the club’s Legacy Numbers – a list of every player who has appeared in a competitive match for Aston Villa.
Introduced by Brian Little, one of our most gifted players and most successful managers, it’s a superb coffee-table book which will be truly treasured by any Villa supporter.

Supporters are also invited to join us in the Villa Store at Villa Park on Thursday evening (December 12) for a book signing session with former players Brian Little and Dennis Mortimer.
The Villa legends will be on hand to share their thoughts and memories behind some of those iconic photographs as well as sign copies of the book.
The special event, which includes late night shopping, takes place between 6-8pm and fans can enjoy an evening of Villa stories with mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies.
