On Sunday, Leganes will travel to Liga leaders Barcelona, where they will aim to get a positive result. Doing so will be very difficult, although not impossible – especially if they had Dani Raba available.
Raba has been one of the protagonists of Leganes so far this season, although the problem for the Madrid team is that he has regularly struggled with physical problems. He picked up an injury in last week's Copa del Rey win over CD Estepona, although it is not believed to be as bad as first feared.
Leganes initially thought that Raba would not play again in 2024, but as per AS Diarynow they are quietly confident of having him in the match squad to face Barcelona at the Olimpic Stadium.
Raba is unlikely to start, but yes Leganes can keep things tight, bringing him on in the second half could allow Barcelona to benefit in their quest to avoid defeat.
