Darren Bent hailed Bukayo Saka as “world class” as the Arsenal star was praised for being his team's most clinical attacker.
But talkSPORT has been told the Gunners will need to bring in more firepower this January if they are to move up the Premier League table.
The winger has continued to be Arsenal's main threat this season, with 21 goals and assists in as many games so far this campaign.
He is on track to surpass Thierry Henry's league record of 20 assists from the 2002/03 campaign.
Saka had a brace and an assist in the 3-0 win against Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday, and Bent was full of praise for the 23-year-old.
speaking in Internal bulliesBent, who is a member of the Premier League 100 club, said: “It's incredible. Can't say enough about him.
“Every game he plays, he is durable. If you looked last night (against Monaco), they weren't really doubling their lead, sometimes there were three players on him and he didn't have space.
“He just gets better and better and every game you know what you're going to get from him.
“Even if he doesn't see the ball much, there will be one or two decisive moments where he will score a goal or create. For me, he is world class.
“Every game regardless of the rival. He is not a flat track bully who only puts inferior teams to the sword. Champions League, EFL Cup, Premier League, all competitions Arsenal He's there, he's there producing the products and he's getting better.
“That's what's scary.”
Saka's great performances have at times papered over the cracks in a malfunctioning Arsenal attack.
Against the middle blocks, Mikel Arteta's side have often struggled to generate the avalanche of opportunities needed considering their lack of clinical finishers.
Despite the 3-0 against Monaco, the Gunners should have scored more.
Gabriel Jesus continued his 32-game goal drought thanks to his failure to capitalize on his two one-on-one opportunities.
“It's accentuated how clinical and decisive (Saka) is by the fact that the other attackers aren't really,” The Athletic writer Charlie Eccleshare said on the show.
“Certainly not at this time. If you're looking at this team, who's going to step up and produce a moment? It's always him because even someone (Martin) Odegaard is not at his highest level.
“This is certainly not happening on the left. “Saka’s ability to score a goal out of nowhere is really amazing in this team.”
Arsenal content creator Clive Palmer added: “Do we have enough firepower to do what we want to do?
“Going back to Gabriel Jesús, we have to find him again because these things are going to cost us if we don't. They cost us on Sunday (against Fulham).”
Fans have asked Viktor Gyokeres to be signed, while Emmanuel Petit pushed for Victor Osimhen.
Whatever Arsenal's plan for the next transfer window is, it should help propel the club to its first Premier League title since 2004.
The Gunners are currently third in the league, six points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
Chelsea are second, two points ahead of Arsenal.
