Sunday's victory has boosted United's slim top-four hopes as they claimed their first win at the Etihad since March 2021.

Despite remaining in 13th place in the standings, the Red Devils are only six points away from fourth place Nottingham Forest.

They have also reduced the gap on City in fifth place to five points with 16 games played.
