Aston Villa players and staff from our men’s and women’s teams have made their traditional Christmas visits to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Unai Emery and his Villa squad made the special trip from Bodymoor Heath to the hospital on Wednesday, before a group of players visited Acorns on Thursday to help spread some festive cheer.
Interim Manager Shaun Goater joined his Villa Women squad as they also shared in the Christmas gift giving.
As in previous years, the playing staff all contributed to buying presents for the children and delivered them on the hospital wards and at the hospice, as well as greeting loved ones and staff and posing for photos, signing shirts, balls and other items.
