Leon Bailey and Tyrone Mings return to Aston Villa’s squad for Saturday’s visit of Manchester City.
Wide man Bailey has missed the last two matches since being forced off in the club’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Southampton.
Centre-back Mings, meanwhile, was ruled out of last weekend’s 2-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest due to illness.
Both will be back in Villa’s squad to face City this weekend, although the encounter comes too soon for midfielder Jacob Ramsey, who is close to returning to training with his team-mates.
Manager Unai Emery provided a fitness update at Friday afternoon’s pre-match media conference.
“Tyrone Mings and Leon Bailey tomorrow are in the squad,” he said.
“Not Jacob Ramsey, he is still progressing well but not yet available for tomorrow.”
