Aston Villa’s Premier League 2 fixture against Stoke City has been postponed following a pitch inspection.
The Young Lions were due to face the Potters on Friday, January 10 (ko 2pm) at Clayton Wood.
But the PL2 encounter has been called off due to the current adverse weather conditions, with Josep Gombau’s Under-21s now set for their first match of the year on Tuesday against Bradford City in the Vertu Trophy round of 16 tie at Villa Park.
A new date will be confirmed in due course.
