Aston Villa is excited to launch a new AV150 Legacy Wall at Villa Park as part of our 150th anniversary.
We are now in the midst of a season-long celebration of our beloved club, in which we are taking the opportunity to pay tribute to all fans, players and custodians of Aston Villa past and present.
The club has committed to a series of events and unveilings throughout the 2024/25 season. The first of these was the 1982 European Cup commemoration in October around our fixture against Bayern Munich, which was followed by last week’s dedicated AV150 matchday to formally mark the historic occasion – including a special edition anniversary kit.
The club has commissioned a new statue which will be unveiled at the end of the season, as well as a commemorative piece of art which will be displayed at Villa Park. Fans will also have the chance to have their say in an upcoming all-time XI vote, attend an end of season celebration dinner on the pitch and much more.
As another feature of the celebration, we are delighted to give supporters the opportunity to become part of our iconic home, wherever you are in the world, by purchasing your very own personalised plaque at Villa Park, from £80.
Our Legacy Wall is a place where you, your friends and family can show your support for the club, celebrate births, marriages, anniversaries or pay tribute to loved ones.

The high-quality plaques, made of zinc, will be located on the boundary wall in the North Stand car park behind the Fan Zone. All plaques will include a custom message, which will stand as a symbol of claret and blue passion and cement your place in Villa history.
Fans can choose from three plaque sizes and have the option of two locations – standard position or limited edition, which will be centrally installed along the middle of the wall.
AV150 Legacy Wall
As a gesture of goodwill, the club is offering a complimentary Regular Plaque to any fan who previously bought a paving stone at the Trinity Road Stand reception near the William McGregor statue.
Fans will be able to select whichever inscription they like for the new plaque – free of charge – and additionally have the opportunity to purchase at their own expense a replica or certificate.
In order to claim the complimentary Regular Plaque, please send a scanned copy of your original certificate for the Trinity Road Stand paving stone to legacywall@avfc.co.uk before 31st January 2025.
Please note, the club will only offer a direct transfer to a Regular Plaque, and the transfer cannot be used to reduce the price of a Regular Limited Edition, Large Plaque or Limited Edition Large Plaque.
