Wolves boss Gary O'Neil declares club will not be forced to sell anyone this summer as Arsenal and Tottenham surround
Gary O'Neil has promised Wolves will not be forced to sell anyone amid interest in star winger Pedro Neto.
talkSPORT reported last week how the Midlands side would not stand in the 23-year-old's way if a Champions League club enter through it.
And we also told you how North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in the Portuguese striker, who is valued at £60 million.
Wolves Boss O'Neil has now stated that the club is in a position where it does not have to cash in on its prized assets.
Speaking on the talKSPORT breakfast show, o'neil Dean Saunders asked him about the possibility of losing his key players at the end of the season.
To which he said: “The good news in terms of players is that we sold some last summer.
“We didn't sign many, we didn't spend anything in January.
“So financially we are in a place where we don't need to lose our best players, we don't need to lose any players.
“That puts us in a better place initially than last summer, so we can make our own decisions about what is best for the club rather than what might need to be done.
“No one will leave if it is not convenient for us.

“Obviously, if the top clubs come asking for players and the price is right and we think it's best for Wolves, then it will always be a consideration.
“But when you're sitting in this seat and you just need the team to win games, I want to keep them all as long as possible.”
Neto gave Spurs a first-hand look at what he could bring to Ange Postecoglou's team by providing the winning assist in Wolves victory 2-1 visiting Tottenham on Saturday.
Despite missing nine games from November to the end of December due to a hamstring injury, he has still managed to contribute with three goals and 11 assists in 19 games in all competitions.
After being considered one of the favorites to go down this season, the Wolves sit in 11th place after 25 games played.
And they could finish in eighth place if Newcastle and West Ham lose to Arsenal and Brentford respectively.
Meanwhile Chelsea are in action in the Carabao Cup final, and just one point is needed for Wolves to leapfrog the Blues in the table.
