'Very impressed': Pochettino praises Chelsea star after performance against Preston
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was delighted with the performance of Chelsea attacking midfielder Cole Palmer in the 4-0 FA Cup win over Preston on Saturday.
Palmer provided the assist for Thiago Silva's goal, his 15th goal in 20 appearances this season.
Pochettino said: “Very impressed. I think he arrived on the last day of the transfer window and his performance after six months was incredible. We are so happy.
“Today I'm a little disappointed in him because he didn't have the great opportunity he has. He is still young and still needs to improve in different areas, not only on the field but also off it.
“He needs to understand a lot of things, but I think he is improving a lot and he is a very good player for us and he is doing fantastic and I am very happy.”
