The duo has been the foundation of the Reds' success under Jurgen Klopp and they can consider themselves unlucky to have won only one Premier League title at Anfield.

Between them they have achieved more than 100 assists in the top category.

And with Liverpool still blessed with goalscorers, Alexander-Arnold and Robertson shouldn't have too much trouble scoring even more goals.

Record assists for Alexander-Arnold and Robertson

From first division Alexander-Arnold made his debut in December 2016 as an 18-year-old against Middlesbrough and has racked up 58 assists.

What makes it more impressive is that in his first two seasons in the top flight, the England international only played 26 games and recorded one assist.

But starting in the 2018/19 campaign, he has been incredible at scoring goals.

The Liverpool youth graduate is only 25 years old, so he still has plenty of years left at the top and could easily surpass 100 assists.

But for now, he faces stiff competition from teammate Robertson in the battle to be the Premier League's most attacking defender.

The Scot is now 29 years old but he has not lost rhythm, quality or desire.

Robertson made his top-flight debut in 2016 with Hull City.

He spent a season in the Premier League with the Tigers, who were relegated, but did enough to convince Liverpool to sign him.

While at Hull, the left-back picked up two assists, but the rest of his 58 came at Anfield.

There is no doubt that he is one of Klopp's best signings and has been an exemplary example of value for money in the transfer market, given that he cost an initial £8 million.
