Laura Woods couldn't control her laughter when Ally McCoist accidentally named Wilfried Zaha instead of Mohamed Salah as a 'world class' player.
Over the past week, fans and pundits have engaged in a lengthy debate over which players can be considered “world class.”
talkSPORT's Martin Keown caused controversy when he reaffirmed that Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham cannot be given the title.
While individual choices will remain subjective, McCoist I certainly chose an interesting answer, although by mistake.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Woods asked him how many 'world class' players he could name in the Premier League.
“You look at guys like… Zahaworld class,” McCoist, after a long pause but with a confused look on his face, Woods asked, “Zaha?”

Realizing his mistake, McCoist quickly insisted: “I meant SalahDid I just invent someone?”
Both he and Woods drew laughter for their mistake, with Woods saying: “Not Wilfried Zaha!
“I thought, 'It's interesting to approach him directly.' Of all people, he doesn't even play in the Premier League!”
McCoist didn't shy away from his mistake and continued with the joke: “It may be controversial, but I start with Wilfried Zaha.
“It's been one of my favorites for a long, long time and I'm going to continue with the controversial topic and go with…”
Woods couldn't stop laughing, and McCoist then added: “When did Wilfried Zaha become Mo Salah? Anyway, do you want to ask that question again?”
“Actually, we should just leave it and then cause an absolute ruckus, right? 'The man has lost his mind, get him off the air immediately!'
“Yes, I'm in a nursing home. 'We can send him flowers and visit him every Sunday afternoon. We could take him for a walk on a Sunday.'”
Zaha certainly proved his worth in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, scoring 68 goals in the top flight before joining Galatasaray.
Liverpool legend Salah, on the other hand, continues to do wonders for the club, having scored 152 league goals in seven seasons.
