Blackburn are perhaps best known as the answer to the pub quiz for Premier League champions with their 1995 title under Kenny Dalglishbut that was not unique.

Chelsea fans have to deal with regular ridicule about their history, starting with Roman Abramovich's purchase of the club in 2004, but if that were true they wouldn't be so high on this list.
While much of their success has come in recent years, particularly their four European titles, they won seven of their honors before receiving a financial boost.
In fact, the Blues have had just four trophyless seasons since 2004, and even with their struggles this season, it's hard to imagine they won't win again soon.

Like Chelsea fans, City fans can nod to an illustrious history every time they hear a joke about recent success, with their first European title coming in 1970.
They also took eight other honors before acquiring Abu Dhabi in 2011, but things have taken off since then.
This is due in particular to Pep Guardiola's 12 titles, with the Spaniard achieving a historic treble last season, and looking almost certain to add more titles this season.

The first place on the podium is occupied by Arsenal with 31 honors, but curiously their list is much more concise.
This is because the Gunners have been dominant in both the league and the FA Cup, with no club having surpassed their 14 lifts of the latter trophy.
Arsene Wenger took seven of those FA Cup wins and three league triumphs, but even with the club out of sorts after the legendary Frenchman's departure, they still maintained their form at Wembley.
The only thing missing from Arsenal's trophy cabinet is the top flight of European football with the Champions League, but they still have two major continental honors to their name.

United were at the top of football in the 1950s and recovered incredibly from the horror of the Munich air disaster to win more leagues and a European Cup in the 1960s.
That incredible legacy turned the club into one of the greatest sports teams in the world, allowing Ferguson to continue the club's tradition of dominating at the national level.
