Despite president Angel Haro declaring that his contract offer had expired, Real Betis will hold new talks over the future of Guido Rodriguez. The Argentine midfielder is out of contract in just three months, but has yet to find a way out.
Rodriguez, 29, has been a stalwart at the heart of Betis' midfield since arriving, and has impressed both in Sevilla and for Argentina, sparking interest from Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester United in recent years. Somewhat surprisingly, now that he is free to negotiate with any club he likes, his future is still up in the air.

Betis have already signed their eventual successor in Johnny Cardoso from Brazilian football, who impressed early on during his time in Spain.
