Gabriel Martinelli was injured against Sheffield United in what could be a serious blow for Arsenal.
The Brazilian started the gunmen at Bramall Lane and scored to give them a 3-0 lead that night after only 15 minutes.
He also assisted Kai Havertz as Arsenal went on a run, but his night was cut short in the 64th minute.
martinelli He fell to the grass and seemed to have a problem with his right foot, so he had to be removed with the help of physiotherapists.
The 22-year-old could be seen wincing in pain and was unable to put any weight on his foot.
As a result, he was replaced by Gabriel Jesús, who replaced him in Arsenal's forward line.
It remains to be seen how serious Martinelli's injury will be, but Mikel Arteta will no doubt be anxious at the thought of losing one of his star men.
Bukayo Saka was also taken off at half-time to be replaced by Fabio Vieira, however it is not known if this was due to injury.
Martinelli suffered a hamstring injury early in the season, but was absent only two league games as a result.
He has now scored eight goals and assisted a further five in all competitions in the current campaign following his efforts against Sheffield United.
The winger's replacement could put a damper on what was another dominant performance from Arsenal.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the fifth minute, before an own goal from Jayden Bogle and a shot from Martinelli made it 3-0.
A swath of Sheffield United fans could be seen heading for the exits, with Havertz and Declan Rice scoring the fourth and fifth before the break.
Ben White made it 6-0 just before the hour mark, and the Blades offered little sign of finding a response as they suffered their 20th league defeat of the season.
