On Wednesday, it was reported that the Spanish Football Federation's Competition Committee had rejected Real Madrid's appeal on the red card shown to Jude Bellingham following Saturday's controversial draw with Valencia.

Bellingham thought they had secured a 3-2 win for Los Blancos in the 99th minute, but referee Jesus Gil Manzano blew for full time a second before the ball ended up in the back of the net. This infuriated Real Madrid, and Bellingham in particular, who angrily confronted Gil Manzano for his decision.

Bellingham was later sent by the official to the field for his complaint, but Real Madrid considered that this license was not justified, hence the appeal. Because this was rejected, the English midfielder will now serve a two-game ban, meaning he will miss games against Celta Vigo and Osasuna.

However, the Whites will not fight, and they intend to file another appealwhich was confirmed by Carlo Ancelotti ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

“We will appeal the two-game ban on Bellingham. We think it's unfair.”

Bellingham starts that game for Real Madrid, but at this stand, this will be his only appearance until after the international break. Should this second appeal be successful, then he will be available again to face Celta this weekend.
