Man Utd plan double blow to sign Olise and Guehi

manchester united They are reportedly planning to make a bid to sign Crystal Palace duo Michael Olise and Marc Guehi in the next transfer window, according to insider information of the transfer Dean Jones.

Having endured a woeful campaign this season, the Red Devils are apparently looking to revamp their squad ahead of next season. Strengthening the engine room is on their agenda, but signing a new defender and winger is also on United's to-do list this summer.

speaking in GiveMeSport, jones have reported that Man Utd are looking to accelerate their efforts to strengthen their squad and have identified Olise and Guehi as serious options.

The journalist further claims that United have expressed interest in signing Crystal Palace sporting director Dougie Freedman and that if he joins the club before the next window, Manchester United's task of purchasing the duo could become easier.

Olise and Guehi to Manchester United

Jones said:

“Interestingly, the pursuit of Freedman comes as United have their eye on a couple of key Palace players. Olise and Guehi have been identified as players United could sign in the summer. While I don't think this appointment guarantees that those players will join or that Freedman will be behind it, it probably won't do much harm.

“It will be interesting to see how United's first-team transfer search opens up from here because I was always told that late March and early April would be key to identifying who would come in, and that's starting to come together.” Well.

“They already have a list of targets, but new guys coming into the club will have the opportunity to weigh in on those names and suggest their own. I think Olise and Guehi are good level players that United can target at a time when they have to be realistic about who they can get. But after the next few weeks I expect new names to emerge.”

It has been suggested that Palace want a fee of more than 50 million pounds sell Guehi, while Olise has a termination clause of around £60 million. Man Utd will therefore have to spend a fee of around £110 million to attract the duo to Old Trafford.

Olise and Guehi have already shown their qualities in the first division in recent times, so they would definitely strengthen United's squad should they be bought by Man Utd.

However, it will be interesting to see if the record Premier League champions will eventually manage to acquire the duo's signature in the next transfer window.
