The Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez, has spoken once again about the pressure he is under in the job, admitting that he only gets a brief pleasure in the role. This time he compared himself with Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
It is an unfortunate fact that today the two biggest clubs in Spain have more in common than not, and this week Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is suffering much more than he likes in the role because of the pressure.
Since Barcelona set their budget based on reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and must defeat Napoli to get there, Xavi he was asked if he felt the pressure for the financial aspect as much as the competitive pressure.
“Barça always puts pressure on you. Imagine the maximum pressure you've experienced in life, because that's what it feels like to coach Barça every day. The other day Ancelotti said that he doesn't have fun, that “He suffers, and this is what I have been saying for the last few months. You don't like him much and he suffers a lot. It's normal, it's Barça.”
Barcelona will lose more than 10 million euros if the Italians do not go, and already they are prepared to miss their budget projection, as they try to find 40 million euros that they have not paid from the sale of a percentage of Barca Vision.

Xavi was also asked if the pressure could have arrived Fermin Lopezthat came against the Athletic Club last weekend, and ended the game disconsolate.
“I don't think so, especially in Fermin. He is very perfectionist. He wants to do excellent things, he puts a lot on himself, and I imagine that he would not be happy in San Mames (because of the defeat) and it's normal, because I wasn't happy with his performance either.
