Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted he would also be booed if he were a supporter in the stands.
Pochettino has not managed to improve much in Chelsea since last summer arrived with the season almost the same as last year under Graham Potter.
Fans were outraged after losing to Liverpool in it Carabao Cup with Jurgen Klopp aligning several young people full-time.
And there have been incidents in which fans have expressed their discontent in recent weeks, including on Saturday when fans chanted Jose Mourinhothe name and demanded the departure of Todd Boehly.
It is also not the first time fans have booed players after losing 4-2 to Wolves last month at home.
But Pochettino insisted he understands the fans' fury and admitted he would feel the same if he were one of them.
He said at his press conference on Thursday: “I have nothing to complain, nothing to say, we understand the situation.
“We need to accept the criticism. We need to try to improve the way we play and the result and try to change this feeling.
“Let's hope that on Monday the fans support us and help the team win the game.
“But we have to accept that this is football. Maybe if I were a fan, I would behave the same as them, because it is Chelsea and we are not living up to expectations.”

The Blues have won once in their last four games – an FA Cup clash against Championship side Leeds.
There have been doubts over whether Pochettino will be in the job next season and several managers have been sounded out, including Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim and Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi.
When asked how his situation with the fans could change, Pochettino said: “I can't do anything.
“The way they can believe in us is by winning games. After Wolverhampton, we didn't lose for 90 minutes.
“It's five games, right? But because of expectations, that's the problem, expectations don't match reality.”
Chelsea's next action will be on Monday night when they take on Newcastle, live on talkSPORT, at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, but will be without Ben Chilwell, Conor Gallagher and Levi Colwill due to injuries and illness.
