Liverpool star Mohamed Salah recalls shocked one-word response to Jurgen Klopp's shocking Anfield exit
Mohamed Salah has revealed his surprise at Jurgen Klopp's departure, having initially thought Virgil van Dijk was winding him up.
The German surprised the football world in January when he announced that he would be stopped as coach at the end of the season.

“(Klopp's) agent was here and I said, 'Oh, he's renewing his contract!'
“Because there's usually no meeting at that time, five minutes before the meeting, Virgil says to me, 'Do you know what the meeting is about?'

“I was like, 'No,' he said, 'The manager is leaving,' and I was like, 'Are you serious?'
“He said, 'Yes,' I said, 'Why?', he said, 'I have no idea,' then the manager came in and everyone asked, then he said it.
“It was very strange because no one knew before, there was nothing in the media, he didn't even prepare us for it, he only said it once.
“I thought, 'Okay.' That was a strange day for us, but that's football.”
In what is Klopp's final season with Liverpool, they could end the season by winning a historic quadruple.
The Reds have already won the Carabao Cup and lead the Premier League, while they are still in the hunt for the FA Cup and Europa League.
