Ollie Watkins’ 12th goal of the season in all competitions just after the hour mark secured all three points from a high-tempo, end-to-end clash in north London.

Pau Torres’ header deep into first-half injury time levelled matters at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after Giovani Lo Celso’s deflected opener in the 22nd minute.

Dejan Kulusevski and Leon Bailey both hit the woodwork while Heung-Min Son saw three efforts ruled out for Spurs for offside, as did Watkins following a VAR review.

The Boss

“His (Ange Postecoglou) impact has been fantastic. As a coach, you try to analyse and understand tactically how they are being successful in their idea and how they are improving during the season. They have changed some tactical issues: defensively going man-to-man a lot, holding the line high and how they are taking their positions on the pitch. This a big challenge on Sunday about how we can stop them. We want to play with personality and showing our capacity, individually and collectively. I think every player is very excited to face them.” – Unai Emery
