Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston left West Ham fans in a frenzy after holding up a club scarf in a bar.

The 67-year-old actor received a scarf and immediately made a movement to pick it up and said: “West Ham United!

“I'll show it to you up high,” he added, as filmed fans screamed with joy.

The shouts of celebration continued as Cranston held the scarf aloft to the delight of fans and others in the bar.

And to add a bit more West Ham to the scene, bubbles appeared as the video was captioned: “Heisenberg is a Hammer.”

Cranston played the character Walter White on Breaking Bad from 2008 to 2013, whose alter ego was known as Heisenburg.

Whether the Hollywood star knows too much about the Hammers or not remains to be seen.

But he wouldn't be the first notable figure to support the east London side, with Matt Damon, James Corden and even Barack Obama following the Irons.

And everyone would have been celebrating wherever they were in the world on Thursday night when West Ham thrashed Freiburg 5-0 at the London Stadium in the Europa League.

It saw them come back from a 1-0 defeat to the Bundesliga side in the first leg and will see them progress to the next round of the Europa League.

And they will return to Germany to face a tougher test when they face Bayer Leverkusen in the quarterfinals.
