GOALS! Derby 1-0 Bolton (Wilson 78); Peterborough 0-1 Portsmouth (Yengi 77)

Two great goals at the top of League One!

“After enduring, along with a couple of thousand more, 90 minutes of absolute nonsense from a Dundee United team in Dunfermline last night that would have jailed Jim McLean on 11 charges of GBH, I am reduced to checking updates on today's match between Queens Park and Raith Rovers. in the Scottish Championship,” cries Simon McMahon. “A win for Raith would take them to the top, a draw would put them level on points with United. It's currently 0-0, but I think I know how it will end. We will face them at Tannadice in a fortnight as we have lost to them twice this season. I'm already nervous. Please tell me everything will be okay.”

You don't need me to tell you, you know very well that everything will never be okay.

Burnley 1-0 Brentford

David Fofana almost did a Gary Crosby! Kind of. He was hiding behind Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken, waiting for him to drop the ball at his feet. When he did, Fofana appeared out of nowhere to steal the ball…and then slipped. A few minutes later he missed an open goal after a cross from Assignon, so he is not having the best moment.

GOAL! Ipswich 3-0 Sheff Wednesday (Broadhead 45+1)

That'll do. Nathan Broadhead completes a precise move to give Ipswich a surely unassailable lead at Portman Road. This is what it means to be at the top of the championship table.

Burnley 1-0 Brentford Now Muric has made a fantastic save to deny Yoane Wissa and maintain Burnley's lead at Turf Moor.

Burnley 1-0 Brentford A moment to watch out for in the highlights: a comically blind back pass from Dara O'Shea headed towards the net until Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric made a desperate clearance over the line.

GOAL CANCELLED! Luton 0-1 Nottm Forest

Teden Mengi had a goal disallowed for handball. It seems like a pretty simple decision, one that referee Darren England made on the field. Mengi controlled a corner with his arm, probably not on purpose, and volleyed from close range.

GOAL! Ipswich 2-0 Sheff Wednesday (Burgess 37)

Cameron Burgess scores from close range to double Ipswich's lead. They are on course to move ahead of second-placed Leeds, who play Millwall tomorrow.

first division If results remain the same, Forest will jump above Everton and Brentford into 15th place and Luton will be four points behind Everton having played one more game. I was going to say that Luton really can't afford to lose today, but who knows what could happen with the points deductions.
