Real Sociedad do not want to pay 15 million euros asking price to sign the striker this summer

Real Sociedade have had a disappointing season so far. They may have reached the knockout stages of the Champions League, but after 29 match days, they are currently 10 points adrift of the top four, meaning a return to the competition is in serious doubt.

La Real's biggest problem this season has been the lack of goals. Alexander Sorloth had an excellent 2022-23 campaign, but was not signed last summer – instead he went to Villarreal, where he was quite successful. Andre Silva was signed on loan instead, and it's safe to say he's been poor so far.

Silva has just three goals in 20 appearances this season, two of which have come in La Liga. La Real has the option to buy for 15 million euros in the summer, but at this stage, they are not willing to pay that amount, as reported by Sports stadium.

Despite this, Silva could return Real society for the next season, if another loan move is agreed or a reduced fee is paid. If that were to be the case, all parties would surely hope that 2024-25 is much better than 2023-24.
