French FA president Phillippe Diallo reiterated his stance on Deschamps' future regardless of France's performance at Euro 2024, and they head into the tournament among the favourites.

“There is no doubt (about Deschamps). I don't want to discuss this,” as quoted by Sports newspaper.

“Zidane is a monument of French football. We have to recognize and show gratitude for everything he has contributed. But, we have the best coach of French football in position until 2026. Everything has already been said about it.

France have been placed in Group D at Euro 2024 alongside the Netherlands, Austria and an unconfirmed play off winner.
