Sven-Goran Eriksson hailed Jurgen Klopp as a “legend” when the pair met for the first time before the Liverpool Legends game.

The former England manager sadly revealed in January that he had been diagnosed terminal pancreatic cancerstating that he has “at most one year” to live.

He is now going to get your wish to be part of the Liverpool management team for the Legends match against Ajax on Saturday, and the lifelong Red was finally able to be on the Anfield bench.

But before even taking the field, Eriksson lived another dream: meeting current Reds boss and club legend Klopp.

“What a legend,” Eriksson is heard saying to the Liverpool manager.

Klopp then gives him a hug and then says: “Nice to meet you!”

Eriksson puts his hand on Klopp's back and continues telling him how much he admires him.

“Congratulations,” he says with a smile.

“Thank you very much,” Klopp responds.

“You're doing great!” Eriksson continues.

Klopp then smiles at him and says: “We will do our best.”
