Spain head Luis de la Fuente is still making up his mind about some key Euro 2024 squad calls.
La Roja has suffered a frustrating start to 2024 after storming to qualification for the tournament in November.
Defeat in Colombia it was followed by a late one 3-3 draw at home to Brazil in Madrid as Spain start 2024 without a win.
De la Fuente made 10 initial changes between the two games and is still assessing his options ahead of the big kick off in Germany in June.
Most of de la Fuente's starting XI is already set with Barcelona star Pedri will return to his midfield before the competition.
His partner from Barcelona Yamal plates forced his way to the front of the queue in the mind of de la Fuente, but other calls are not resolved at this stage.
“We learned and drew positive conclusions from the Brazilian game. We finished strongly and feel that we can go far as a team,” according to reports from Brand.
“Lamine Yamal had a brilliant performance, but we have to be careful. He does what we ask for the team.
“We have world-class players who make this team exciting and generate expectations.
“These performances make my job very difficult, because there is a lot to choose from, and this is very good.”
Spain have just one friendly before Euro 2024 which starts on June 14 as they face Andorra the week before.
