Real Madrid are expected to reach a new agreement for international Ukraine Andriy Lunin in double quick fashion, according to the latest in the Spanish capital.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper has been in fine form this season, beating Kepa Arrizabalaga to the top spot in the absence of Thibaut Courtois. Both sides have shown a complete willingness to reach a new agreement for Lunin, and Relief say that the deal will probably be done soon, even though the talks were started only a few weeks ago.

His current deal expires in 2025, and Real Madrid want to tie him down not only as a strong support to Courtois for next season, but also in the event of an offer coming for him down the line. Lunin will start for Ukraine in the euro this summer, which could see his peak value, and as a result, they are trying to extend their agreement for several years to ensure that they have a strong negotiating position.
