Chelsea were guilty of another kind of disaster against ten-man Burnley as fans once again turned against boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Boos echoed around Stamford Bridge when Blues Despite taking the lead twice, they drew 2-2 at home against the relegation-threatened Clarets.
And to make matters worse, the visitors were down to ten men just before half-time, as well as seeing coach Vincent Kompany red carded.
Lorenz Assignon received his marching orders for two yellow cards, and Kompany was sent off for his angry protests at the defender who awarded a penalty.
Cole Palmer The resulting penalty broke the deadlock with a cheeky penalty and everything indicated that the afternoon would be comfortable for the hosts.
But once again it ended in nightmare fashion as Burnley fought back to earn a deserved point.
Josh Cullen equalized just after the restart with a stunning shot from distance, before Palmer popped up with his second in the 78th minute.
However, their lead lasted just three minutes when Dara O'Shea arrived at the end of the corner and guided his shot past goalkeeper Dorde Petrovic.
And replays show that the Serbian goalkeeper should have avoided the header, as the ball slipped through his fingers.
In the end, Chelsea were lucky to finish with a point after Jay Rodriguez hit the crossbar with a header, before firing over the rebound from six yards.
A large number of fans left Stamford Bridge early, while the fans who stayed booed Pochettino and his team at the final whistle.
The result leaves Chelsea in 11th place, while Burnley remains in 19th place.
