Defender of Barcelona Inigo Martinez made headlines after losing his temper with a teenager on the street. Filmed by one of the perpetrators' friends, Martinez got out of his car to punish the children in question.
Although it is not known exactly what was said to incense Martinez, he accused the teenagers of calling him stupid. This is a problem Barcelona they are aware of it, and have tried to take security measures to address it, although it has not been successful.
“That's the last time you call me an idiot, the last time you insult me, and your friend the same. And don't be arrogant now, the same goes for you,” he was seen telling a teenager.

It seems likely that this is the result of constant persecution, and it has become a common theme of life for Barcelona players, who are regularly approached while leaving the Barcelona training camp by people filming them, and shouting in the hope of a reaction. Martinez is not the only one to give a reaction, with Samuel Umtiti also got out of his car to make it clear that he could no longer stand the abuse.
