Eden Hazard is set for an emotional return to Stamford Bridge this summer, leaving Chelsea fans saying the same.
The 33-year-old, who announced his shock retirement in October, he will return to action in west London on June 9 when he takes part in Soccer Aid.
And you can be sure that Blues fans will fill the stands to see their hero, who spent seven trophy-laden years in Chelsea between 2012-2019.
With 110 goals to his name in 352 appearances, Danger He won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the League Cup and two Europa Leagues.
Now he will once again grace Chelsea's hallowed lawn, where he will be coached by the current coach. Mauricio Pochettino as the World XI looks to beat England for the sixth year in a row.
Speaking about his return to the Blues, he said: “My Chelsea family – I'm coming home on Sunday 9th June! I can't wait to see you all again.”
“Playing at Stamford Bridge was always incredible. We won many trophies together there. I have some of the best memories of football – seven brilliant years. I miss them.”
Soccer Aid then shared a video of Hazard, where he proudly said: “I'm back, darling”, to leave Chelsea fans urging the club to take drastic action.
Responding to the clip, one X user joked: “Lock him in the locker room and don't let him leave.”
Another commented: “Don't you dare let him leave Chelsea.”
A third added: “Can we keep him after?”
And this fan then posted: “Take him to the locker room after that and give him the number 10 shirt immediately.”
This fan then joked: “Arrest him and leave him in the locker room.”
Meanwhile one simply said: “Don't let him out, lock him up.”
Hazard won't be the only Chelsea icon involved in Soccer Aid 2024, with the club's all-time leading scorer Frank Lampard to manage the England team.
AND Joe Colewith whom Hazard played at Lille, will also play for the Three Lions.
