All of Erik ten Hag's previous signings at Ajax from Manchester United, ranked with Antony giving a brutal rating
Former Premier League striker Darren Bent has offered a brutal verdict on Antony as he ranks all of Erik ten Hag's former players who have since signed for Manchester United.
The recent arrivals of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui wanted to say Ten Hag has now brought back five of his former players His Ajax days at Old Trafford.
Argentina international Lisandro Martinez was the first to arrive in a £57m deal in July 2022, with Antonio joining the following month for a whopping £81m.
Andre Onana took the total to three when he joined from Inter Milan last summer.
The trio have had mixed success individually since joining the Red Devils, but have all contributed to helping the club win the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup under Ten Hag.

Co-host Andy Goldstein We asked former Charlton and Tottenham player Bent to rate Ten Hag's former charges at Ajax, and the ex-England international was brutally honest.
Bent gave Martinez a seven out of ten, much to Goldstein's surprise.
The 40-year-old agreed that Martinez could have been rated higher but his time on the sidelines was what held him back.
Since moving to Old Trafford, Martinez has been out injured for a total of 265 days, missing 56 games for club and country.
However, Bent acknowledged that the 26-year-old remains an elite defender.
“Martinez has class,” Bent told talkSPORT Drive.
But Bent also warned that Martinez, a centre-back, may have to replace him elsewhere in the defensive line due to injury problems with one of his team-mates.
“I think I might have to do a season at left back when everyone is fit, because Lucas Shaw“Bent said.
“You could have Maguire and De Ligt, or Lindelof and De Ligt, and then Mazraoui.”
Goldstein then asked Bent for his verdict on Antony.
Unsurprisingly, it wasn't kind, with Bent giving Antony a two out of ten.
“And I think I'm being generous with that,” Bent added.
“I've always said: have you had a good time since you've been at Manchester United? No, you haven't.
“We haven't seen nearly enough quality and consistency since he's been there.
“Is he a good player? He has to be. You can't get to that level if you're not like that.”
Goldstein wondered whether Antony's analysis would be as scathing if its price were significantly lower.
Bent replied: “I don't think they would have been that surprised.”
Antony has struggled to find his feet since joining the Red Devils, scoring just 11 goals and providing five assists in 82 appearances.
His 2023-24 Premier League campaign gave little hope to those who believed he could turn things around, with just one goal and one assist in 29 appearances.
Signing Onana was a bold move by Ten Hag, especially as the club had just let go of the veteran goalkeeper. David De Gea.
Bent gave the Cameroonian glove a six out of ten.
“I think Onana has shown moments of brilliance with some of his saves,” Bent said.
“But its distribution is sometimes a bit dubious. It also shakes a couple of times.
“He's been hit on occasions where I don't think he should have been.
“I think Onana is a good goalkeeper. I think he's going to improve.”
