Aston Villa enter this season’s Emirates FA Cup at the third round stage, and are set to discover their opponents in the draw on Monday evening.
The historic competition is in its 144th year, with Villa hoping to add a seventh trophy to their cabinet, having last made the final in 2015.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of the draw…
When is the draw?
The draw for the Emirates FA Cup third round will take place on Monday, December 2, getting underway at 7pm.
What ball number are we?
Aston Villa will be ball number three.
Who is in the competition?
The third round stage sees each and every Championship and Premier League club enter. We will join the remaining 20 teams who have made it to this stage, including non-league sides Tamworth and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Anyone can face anyone in this round, with an open draw containing no seeded teams or regionalised fixtures. FA Cup replays have also ceased this season, meaning each tie will be decided on the day, with extra-time and penalties if games are level after 90 minutes.
